Infant fare cannot apply if she or he are more than 24 months old on the returning date.
The infant fare applies on the basis of the departure date and the infant’s date of.
Free boarding is possible only if the infant is less than 24 months old on departure date.
Flight departure day is based on the one way trip. For domestic round-trip flight (Kimpo-Jeju),
even if infant fare applied for the first trip, you have to pay for a child fare if the infant’s date of
birth is more than 24 month old for the second trip.
The following is an example of the application of infant/child fare for an infant reaching 24 months old during a journey.
○ Flight itinerary: 8/23 - 8/26 (Kimpo-Jeju) ○ Birthday of the child: 8/25
☞ Infant fare applies to 'Kimpo - Jeju' flight (8/23), but child fare to 'Jeju - Gimpo'(8/26)
If you bought a ticket for a round trip at an infant fare, you have to refund the one-way trip and buy the child fare ticket. Even if infant fare applied for the first trip, you have to pay for a child fare if the infant’s date of birth is more than 24 month old for the returning trip.
<International Flights>
As International air fares are calculated based on the first departure date of the journey, infant fare applies regardless of the age on the returning date if infants are less than 24 months old on the departure date.
However, some airlines may require you to purchase seats if the baby is older than 24 months on the flight boarding day for safety reasons.
When boarding, please bring a document that accurately identifies the date and date of birth of the infant.
